In order to prevent spamming, there are outreach limits.
Free users can reach out to 1 investor every 24 hours.
Premium users can reach out to 5 investors every 24 hours.
These limits only apply to the actions “Submit deck” and “Send email”. There are no limits to “Fill form” and “Find intros” actions. The daily count is visible on your OpenVC dashboard.
Please note that the outreach limit applies at company level, not at user level. For example, if your co-founder sends 5 outreach today, there will be zero left for you until 24 hours later. Therefore, you can't increase your outreach limit by adding more users to your startup.
Also, please note that unused submissions do not roll over to the next day.
💡 Even on a Premium account, your very first submission is always blocked for 24 hours. This gives us time to review and approve it. After that, you'll have access to your 5 outreach/day.
