Accessing the LP Navigator
An OpenVC investor account is required to use the LP Navigator. If you don't already have one, head to https://OpenVC.app/signup and create an investor account. Both unverified and verified investors accounts can use the LP Navigator.
Next, purchase your LP Navigator subscription. Go to https://www.openvc.app/lp-navigator, click "Buy now" and check out. We offer a single plan at $300/mo that renews every month - no annual commitment.
The LP Navigator should be instantly activated after payment. If that's not the case, try to log out and log back in. If the issue persists, please email [email protected] and we will sort this out for you.
Browse and filter 10k+ LPs
The LP Navigator includes 10k+ LP profiles, from Fund of Funds to Family Offices and Wealth Managers.
The data comes from public sources, such as websites, public announcements, regulatory filings, and more. There is no "secret source" for the data - it's a long, methodical work of data collection, clean up, deduplication, and enrichment.
We do our best to provide comprehensive profiles, but not all LP profiles are complete. This is to be expected and part of the game when dealing with LP data.
LP profiles can be filtered by:
LP type: Family offices, Fund of funds, Foundations, Pension funds, Wealth managers, HNWI, and WIP (Work in progress - still working on the data).
Target countries: Countries where the LP invests in
Offices: Countries where the LP has an office
Focus: Verticals and themes where the LP has an interest
Please note that HNWI are a recently added category with very limited data available at the moment.
Accessing LPs via email and intros
LP Navigator gives you two options to connect with LPs
Send email: See the verified email address of the LP
Find Intros: See mutual connections with the LP based on your Gmail and LinkedIn accounts
To use the Intro Finder, you will first need to set it up properly.
Go to the Intro Finder settings, click the button and follow the instructions to sync your LinkedIn and Gmail accounts.
Keep in mind that the results of the Intro Finder vary for each user as they depend on your own connections.
